IRIS

Textile Art of the legendary Iris Appeal. A interior designer who Jackie Kennedy (Jackie O) put on the map with assisting her in re-decorating the White House. Iris was a fashion Icon, always positive, strong and not afraid to be herself. A role model for many women. I drew her face on fabric on the sewing machine, (dropped the down dogs on my machine), embroidered, embellished using my own crafts of sewing, taught in my childhood by my grandmothers.
