This new series delves into the concept of mirages—illusions where appearances deceive and what seems one way is, in fact, something entirely different. This collection emerges from a desire to explore new forms of expression, moving away from figurative painting to focus on physical and emotional sensations. Rather than guiding the viewer towards a specific emotional response, I aim to create space for personal and open interpretation, inviting each observer to experience the work through their own lens. Through this exploration of mirages, I hope to challenge perceptions and provoke a deeper reflection on the fleeting nature of truth and illusion. Thesepieces are a complete departure of my style so far, but they came out of me like a vomit, an explosion, a channelling. They reflect chaos, my internal and external landscape when trying to find meaning in the events of my life; feeling stagnant and needing a hurricane to move, facing my fears, etc.
