Happy in the Bubble
This painting is a triptych. Each wood panel is 12" x 12" and framed in a black infinity frame. Since November, 2024, I have stopped watching anything that resembles news. After a year of being obsessed with the results of the election, I realized I had too much energy invested. The results in November served as a wake up call to me to deflect, ignore and transcend. I now live happily in the bubble. Elements in this triptych represent internal swirling of emotions and thoughts being contained within and protected from the outside world. Although you can't see it in the photograph, each panel include cold wax and gold metallic paint.
