Nobody told her about the chin hairs that would sprout up like weeds overnight, or the sleepless nights, or an array of other symptoms of menopause. Her skin is not colored as a representation of the invisibility that Edna, and many women, feel. Many women walk away from their primary care physician without answers to their menopausal questions, and no clue what they are in for!
