My Assistant Bloomed the Colors is an oil painting on wood, created on a carefully sanded wooden panel that is cut following the contour of the image itself. By shaping the wood according to the figure, the painting moves beyond a flat rectangle and becomes an object with presence. The cartoon-influenced yet semi-realistic style allows the work to feel playful and intimate, while still holding emotional depth. The cat in this piece is inspired by my own experience of creating alongside animals. Living and working with my cat changed the way I understand art. Accidents, mess, and unexpected traces became part of the process. Rather than controlling every detail, I began to accept spontaneity and imperfection as sources of vitality. Animals are an important subject in my practice. I deeply love animals and support animal protection and awareness. Through painting, I hope to express the warmth, individuality, and quiet strength that animals bring into our lives. In addition to independent artworks, I also create custom oil portraits of pets, transforming personal bonds into lasting images. For me, painting animals is not only a visual choice but also a way to honor their presence and advocate for compassion.
