Blow Me a Kiss | No. 006 :: Ooooops!

I recently captured a unicorn. For me, not easy, not expected. Also, not a literal unicorn. Though if I did catch a unicorn I would follow best catch-and-release practices to leave said unicorn unharmed (like they do in the movies). In this case, I’m using the word unicorn to represent the rarity (scratch that), impossibility, of me painting the same image over and over again. I initially created this design on a big piece of scrap paper with a ball point pen. I kept modifying the design with each new iteration until I arrived at this design. In my thirty-five years of running a small visual arts studio in Seattle, not once did I come across a unicorn. I hope you enjoy the beauty of this image as much as I do. Best, Mike
