Hello, I'm Michael E. Goldman.

Michael E. Goldman is an American artist​,​ primarily working with industrial materials. His pieces reflect a keen observation of the environment around him​,​ often mixing caution with humor. Goldman was born and raised in Rochester​,​ NY. He resides in San Francisco​,​ CA. He has lived & worked in New York City​,​ Philadelphia​,​ Seattle and Los Angeles. Growing up in a house where the walls were covered with art provided him with inspiration from a young age. He learned to build​,​ sculpt and paint from his father​,​ creating wood tables​,​ tunnels of mesh and plaster and painting green rolling hills (directly onto the basement walls) for a model train set. This was his first studio. Michael was educated in photography​,​ art history​,​ studio art and specialized in architecture. He has combined and honed these skills in his artistic pursuits. Outside the studio​,​ Michael enjoys cooking​,​ walking with his dog​,​ surfing in the Pacific and fixing broken stuff.
