I’m an ordinary guy who found his calling as an artist in my late 50s after a corporate layoff. It wasn’t the typical career path​,​ but sometimes a setback is just an opportunity in disguise. As a self-taught digital artist from Texas​,​ I create from a lifetime of experiences​,​ proving creativity can spark at any age. Growing up in Iowa in the 1960s and 70s shaped my artistic vision. Those decades were a visual whirlwind—clean Bauhaus lines and mid-century modern simplicity one moment​,​ explosive pop art and psychedelic energy the next. My work reflects that duality. I craft minimalist compositions with precise architectural elegance​,​ celebrating the power of “less is more.” Other times​,​ I dive into bold​,​ vibrant pieces that capture the wild spirit of American culture​,​ from trippy​,​ swirling visuals to nostalgic nods to the iconic imagery of our generation. I don’t create to chase gallery trends or impress critics. My art is honest​,​ drawn from a time when design was fearless and creativity knew no bounds.
