Hello, I'm Elizabeth A Marshall - Lotta Terracotta Ceramics.

For the last 19 years​,​ I have been a Spanish teacher at a local high school where I inspired young minds with the works of artists Botero​,​ Kahlo​,​ and Gaudí. I retired in June 2024 and have been focused on creating art in both functional and purely artistic creations. I love to paint​,​ which is why most of my functional ceramics feature beautiful birds​,​ dragonflies​,​ and butterflies. My artistic projects reflect my past as a farm girl. They also reflect my love for color and painting. Most projects start with a drawing​,​ then a sculpture with underglazes​,​ and a final coat of clear glaze.
