Hello, I'm Cosette Grider.

I'm a mixed media Artist out of Burbank​,​ CA where I live with my husband​,​ our 13 year old son​,​ and our two pets. I work everyday in my beautiful studio built in our backyard. I have a background in fashion design and fine arts and graduated from Woodbury University in 2004. After several years in the apparel manufacturing industry​,​ I decided to leave mid 2020 to pursue painting full time. With steady commissioned work and mural jobs​,​ I was able to sustain my on-going art business and have successfully completed 3 beautiful collections. My works are described as bold​,​ colorful​,​ feminine and empowering. They have an aesthetic retro flare​,​ blended with styles of art nouveau and some mid century modern. My Art is a direct relationship from viewer to society and then back to themselves. There are strong feminine themes of liberation​,​ letting go of shame and guilt​,​ playfulness​,​ with elements of nature.
