Hello, I'm Marc Bacall.

I’m an artist based between the SF Bay Area and the Philippines. My work explores memory​,​ perception​,​ and the fleeting nature of our thoughts. Through layered collage and painting​,​ I create dreamlike compositions inspired by real or imagined landscapes​,​ my travels​,​ and the natural elements. I create with the understanding that the artwork becomes part of someone’s daily space and life. Each piece is meant to spark curiosity and reward return visits—like noticing new details in a favorite novel or film. My process of layering imagery reflects that belief​,​ building works that slowly reveal themselves over time. My goal is for the viewer to get lost in the work​,​ yet always find something meaningful within it.
