Hello, I'm Louise Williams Images.
I have been a Bay Area artist and portrait photographer for most of my life. My work celebrates the human condition with all its foibles, delights, and ironies. My whimsical images are narrative collages, revealing our idiosyncrasies and attachments. I draw on my own past experiences for inspiration, choosing animals, in addition to the rare human, as characters for their charm and humor. The images evolve from my imagination as I work. Rarely do I know what will unfold from the seed of an idea. I weave together material from a variety of sources to digitally compose the images. Creating them has been a great source of joy for me which I hope to pass along by engaging and delighting all viewers. In creating the images, I draw from the following sources: my own photographic archives, Rijkstudio, Pixel Squid, other public domain sites and Midjourney. I have a husband and two sons and live on the edge of the San Francisco Bay with gulls and cormorants as neighbors as well as coots when they winter in the area. SQUATTERS and THE SILVER LINING, A BEASTLY BAGATELLE are my publications.
