Hello, I'm T.Castaneda.

Hello! I am a multidisciplinary artist​,​ certified bench jeweler​,​ and art professor at my local university. My photography​,​ drawing​,​ printmaking​,​ painting​,​ sculpture​,​ and installations have been exhibited nationally and internationally. My work has been recognized twice by the National Endowment for the Arts. Once for my invention in printmaking​,​ then again for "ReArranging Denver" my zero-waste organization​,​ for its positive impact. Works created from the project​,​ such as the roses​,​ have been sold by several retailers​,​ galleries​,​ and Art Museums. My current sculpture​,​ "Shesus" is a twist on the icon I grew up looking at​,​ as well as a statement of modern-day worship of what we are taught to idolize. I created Shesus in the likeness of the divine feminine we carry and pass to our daughters. Shesus represents the power of a woman's body and the intuitive wisdom we all seek in her loving open arms.
