Nauti Mermaid is a Turkish-American multidisciplinary artist whose work flows between cultures​,​ identities​,​ and states of being. Working across painting​,​ sculpture​,​ relief​,​ and mixed media​,​ she often creates on unconventional surfaces. Rooted in the ocean as both origin and metaphor​,​ her practice explores fluid identity​,​ queerness​,​ gentle masculinity​,​ and transformation. Recurring motifs—jellyfish​,​ seahorses​,​ octopus​,​ and human figures—embody softness​,​ resilience​,​ and the strength found in adaptability. Storytelling is central to her work. Each piece is an invitation to remember that we came from water—and still carry it within us. Through myth-infused imagery and fluid forms​,​ Nauti Mermaid explores belonging​,​ tenderness​,​ and the courage to exist in-between.
