Hello, I'm Ken Crost.

Ken is a senior digital artist with more than twenty-five years of experience, beginning with his early work in photography and evolving into a practice that spans digital imaging, theater, and playwriting. His digital abstracts and abstract portraits draw on this layered creative history, merging technical mastery with emotional and narrative complexity. His artistic path expanded in Chicago, where—after establishing his foundation in photography—he studied improvisation at Second City and went on to run two theaters as producer, actor, and director. After moving to Denver, he shifted toward playwriting, cofounding Write Angle Productions and helping establish Colorado Quickies, a long running festival of ten minute plays. At the same time, Ken became more involved in digital art and began showing in local Denver galleries. Ken’s artwork has been exhibited widely in juried and curated shows throughout Colorado, California, and online. His pieces have received Best in Show awards and reside in the permanent collections of the Littleton Museum and Baker’s Art Center, Liberal, KS. He has exhibited at Redline, Los Angeles Center for Digital Art, Palm Art Gallery, Las Laguna Art Gallery, and the Dairy Center for the Arts, among others. Currently, Ken is showing at the Yavapai College Prescott Art Gallery’s show Amend or Abolish The 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence; and NKollectiv’s Connect show in Denver, CO.
