Hello, I'm Marilyn K Fuller.

Bio : Marilyn Fuller is an assemblage artist based in the United States whose handmade and altered-frame, mixed media wall pieces transform vintage and contemporary jewelry--and nearly anything else she can glue--into layered, luminous works of beauty and quiet wit. Raised in a small rural town in Northern Indiana, Marilyn came of age learning the language of hand skills from her Mother, a woman who understood that capable hands were a woman's finest and most enduring inheritance. Marilyn carried that belief into every chapter of her life: raising four children, then at the age of 40 entering nursing school to become a Registered Nurse--a vocation she dedicated herself to wholeheartedly for twenty-seven years before retirement. It was a deeply personal trauma in the years that followed that opened the creative door. Without a blueprint, without art school, and without apology, Marilyn turned to assemblage art as an act of healing--and discovered that she was an artist in waiting all along. Today at 82, she creates with the uninhibited joy and seasoned instinct of someone who has earned every square inch of her studio table. August 2025 marks her entry in juried art calls and her work is featured on Biafrain and in selected on-line and printed art magazines, such as Novum Artis, Monochromia, Photografique and Abstractics, along with twice appearing on a jumbo screen in New York's Times Square. She has also shown in two Gallery exhibitions, one in CA and one in IL.
