Astrodog
This fun, nostalgic piece was inspired by the Mid-century modern movement. Its spunky, interconnected shapes appear to be propelled forward with energy, much like a gravity-defying dog leaping toward a frisbee. From far away, one senses the lively colors. Up close, the viewer experiences subtle gold drips, wiry scratches, sandiness, and an illusion of plaster. Textures in the line suggest vibrations harmonizing at different frequencies.
