Aspen Soldiers
Each aspen grove is connected through its roots to act as one unit. They stand tall as if guarding the tundra at the higher mountain elevations. I used pallet knife techniques as well as impasto brushwork in this piece making it highly textural. It is painted on all sides so it needs no framing. A free hanging kit is included with the purchase.
