Self Portrait With Salome

I have long been drawn to biblical and pre-biblical parables. At a certain point, I chose to position myself within the structure of such a narrative. The composition and the treatment of the figures reflect a deliberate intention: as an artist, I seek to challenge inherited conventions and visual stereotypes. The fish appears as a recognizable Christian symbol. The tomato, in contrast, replaces the traditional apple a conscious departure from familiar iconography.
