Bougainvillea bushes are common in Southern California. They love the heat and require little water. Whenever ours start to bloom it's joy to see the brightly colored red blooms. In this painting the brushwork is very expressionistic to express the wildness of our neglected plant and its irrepressible life-force. The piece is gallery wrapped so it needs no framing. A free hanging kit is included with the purchase.
