don’t let it burn; don’t let it fade

This work is a raw exploration of memory and mark-making—a visual excavation where layers of thought, motion, and time coexist on a single plane. At its core, a bold swath of viridian green dominates the midsection, surrounded by earthy ochres, soft neutrals, and spontaneous graphite scrawls. Flecks of crimson and cobalt peek through, adding rhythm and disruption. The canvas breathes with open space and subtle erasures, as if thoughts were offered and then reconsidered. Scribbles, directional lines, and half-formed shapes suggest maps, language, or even emotional residue—forms that nearly resolve into meaning but remain elusive. The lower half blends a soft, flesh-toned wash with fragmented orange and pale blue, grounding the piece in warmth while preserving its improvisational energy. A small collage fragment near the top left hints at narrative—a whisper of texture from another world layered into the present. This piece feels like a moment suspended in motion—unfinished by design, asking the viewer to finish the sentence it has started.
