Damaged and discarded vinyl records were cut and molded. The flowers are a marbled vinyl record and the leaves are old 50's 45 records. Using repurposed vintage telephone wire a weaving technique and multiple needlepoint techniques added detail to complete the flowers. The artist constantly propels herself to pushes the boundaries of innovation.

Bonnie (Bebe) Kuhr is a San Francisco Bay Area artist who creates sculptural art by finding transformation through dimensionality. The goal of my work as an artist is to convey a sense of synergism, connectedness and wonder through my presentation of nature. Equally important is my desire to display beauty while engaging the viewer. I draw inspiration by selecting topics and materials that speak to my commitment to the environment. My artistic journey includes a commissioned piece for the National Eagle Center in Minnesota along with a PBS special Things that Fly.
