Gridtopia

An architectural study that blurs the line between order and abstraction. Vertical and horizontal lines form a rigid lattice, yet the glass panels within bend and distort the grid with shifting tones of green and gray. Light drifts across the surface, softening the geometry and adding depth to the repetition. The perspective draws the eye upward, giving the impression of both structure and infinity, as if the pattern extends beyond the frame. The image was captured looking through the 8th floor of a square shaped building with an open air garden atrium in the middle of the building.
