Jack in the Pulpit

In my work, I erase the separation between humans and animals and, via imagination and empathy, place people in the position of seeing what an animal sees—even if it’s just a glimpse. The instinct of the natural world blends with the imagination. In a playfully intense way, my collages explore answers to the question of how we can creatively make meaning from inner pain. Inside the joy that my art expresses is a longing to be closer to animals that may be disappearing or do not show themselves to humans.
