Hello, I'm Ariel Cohen.

I’m an artist living and working in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles. Being the firstborn son of a Jewish New Yorker mother and a Jewish Israeli father has helped shape my interest in the forces that influence our identity and vice versa. Growing up in the Southern California ska-punk scene of the late-90’s and early-00’s has also influenced my style. Last​,​ but certainly not least​,​ my professional life as a practicing psychotherapist helps serve as great inspiration for the content of my artwork. What you see here is the convergence of all these influences on where my mind wanders and​,​ not long after​,​ where the brush hits the canvas.
