Hello, I'm Sanchez_McGrath.

Sanchez_McGrath, originally from Atlantic City, New Jersey, has spent a good part of his life in the Washington DC Area. He is an illustrator and street artist who typically works with inks, pencils and paint. His pieces are tiny, intimate portraits mostly done on USPS High Priority 228 Labels. He utilizes a figure ground or chiaroscuro style to create the contrast between black and white, similar to the method used every day in his profession as an architect to note mass and voids of a space. He creates the contours and islands of the portrait subject to help establish a clear visual hierarchy for the viewers’ attention.
