Hello, I'm Amelia Wilson.
I'm Amelia from Wildrose Studio (https://www.wildrose.studio and https://www.instagram.com/ofwildrose). I paint mostly in acrylics and I'm currently exploring watercolor. I paint because making things matters, especially in a world focused on automation, where success increasingly means the removal of the human element. My art offers an intimate perspective on the sheer act of being alive, turning experience into something you can actually hold. Every brushstroke is physical, visible, and unrepeatable. I'm inspired by Lee Krasner, Nathan Oliveira, J.M.W. Turner, Mark Rothko, and Henri Matisse. My work has been displayed nationally across the United States, from Times Square to San Diego. It has been shown at the de Young Museum in San Francisco, in corporate settings, and is held in private collections. It has also been featured in local press in Hermosa Beach and Tiburon-Belvedere. When I’m not in the studio, you’ll often find me exploring local shows and museums around the Bay Area. For inquiries or commissions, feel free to reach out!
