It explores what it means to be left alone, and how a sense of self can slowly disappear as the mind becomes overgrown with its own wildness. Painted in acrylic, the work is built up in layers with messy, textured brushstrokes and thick impasto. The surface shows changes in direction and pressure, leaving marks that show the movement of the brush.
