Gemini
Gemini is a mixed-media collaboration between Angela Denise Allen Simms and Mike D’Amelio that explores duality, reflection, and fractured identity. Overlapping profiles, mirrored forms, and shifting planes suggest simultaneous selves—seen and unseen, present and receding. Soft pastel fields contrast with darker, weighted textures, creating a push and pull between vulnerability and control. The work lingers in the in-between space of contradiction, where opposites coexist and identity remains fluid rather than fixed.
