City Trees
In this painting I was remembering a trip to New York City a couple of years ago. The city skyscrapers and the bustling people were beautiful counterpoints to the blooming sidewalk trees and clear blue sky of Spring. So different but so lovely together. I used very quick gestural brushstrokes and drip techniques in this very spontaneous painting. It's a happy colorful piece that is painted on all sides so it needs no framing. A free hanging kit is included with the purchase.
