Dairy Farm

On a dairy farm in Wisconsin, I watched as my Father modernized his job of milking cows. It went from a bucket to a machine. With every modernization, the objective remained the same: cows need to produce as much milk as possible. For the cattle, it isn't an equitable exchange. Most cows are sweet, loving animals and moms. Their calves are taken away so that we can milk them longer. We even use their hides for jackets, hats, boots, and rugs.
