Dance for the Renewal of the World 2025
In this ceramic wall-hanging piece, four figures dance; both separated and connected by a delicate thread. Paying homage to the art of prehistoric peoples, the modern day dancers are carved into textured rock-like slabs. The piece is comprised of four separate slabs. Each has a hanging lip on the back. The colors are natural earth pigments. There are also bits of mica imbedded in the ceramic. This piece is only suitable for the indoors and should be installed with care. I will be available to give hanging advice.
