Hello, I'm Georgianna Krieger.

I am an Oakland, California–based artist whose practice spans many materials such as cast glass, bronze, cement, and ceramic. Guided by the belief that concept dictates material, I create without boundaries, exploring universal truths through sculpture and painting. I am also a saxophonist and I pursue both art and music professionally . Active in the San Francisco Bay Area art community, I have exhibited widely, including as featured sculptor in the Joyce Gordon Gallery’s Exit From Anonymous, as a long-time member of Berkeley’s 4th Street Fine Art cooperative, and in juried exhibitions such as The Museum Of Northern California Art’s Don’t Kill the Messenger (2025) the Blue Line Art Center’s Off Center shows (2024–25) and the California Ceramics Invitational at KNK Gallery San Francisco (2026). My work has also been featured nationally, with my large-scale bronze Turn Around traveling on loan to cities in Missouri, Indiana, and Colorado. In my studio today I'm working on both sculpture and an emerging painting series entitled Dance For The Renewal of the World. My newest body of sculptural work, Sentinels, reflects on our precarious moment in history: envisioned as watchful souls of the earth, the sculptures serve as both guardians and warnings as humanity enters a new and uncertain epoch.
