Mountain Lake
I love Canada, especially the Canadian Rockies. This peaceful scene portrays a lake high in the mountains fed by melting snows and giving life to many animals and flora as well to the towns down below. I used pallet knife techniques as well as gestural brushwork in pastel colors in this abstract expressionist piece. The work is painted on all sides and requires no framing.
