This painting is a part of my Seasons series. In San Diego fall is a time of beautiful days, foliage and cooler nights. But it is also a time for Santa Ana Winds causing great fire danger and anxiety. This painting portrays both the anxiety of fire and the saving rain that often arrives in October. I used a warm fall colors as well as cool tones for the earth and sky applied with a pallet knife and large brushes. It's painted on all sides so it needs no framing. A free hanging kit is included with the purchase.
