This painting is part of my ongoing series “Rural Infrastructure”, I’m focusing on the essentials needed to keep industry and farming moving forward. Heavy equipment is part of that system. By chance, I came upon a parking lot of abandoned CATERPILLAR, INC. engine parts that spoke to me as abstracted still life.
