Summer Storm
As part of my Seasons series I imagined a beautiful summer day. The wind picks up. And party ribbons billow up into the sky as storm clouds threaten the garden with an afternoon shower. I used thin washes of paint with very gestural brushwork in pastel colors to keep the feeling light and airy and to imply movement. The piece is painted on all sides so it needs no framing. A free hanging kit is included with the purchase.
