Geishas symbolize the rich cultural heritage of Japan, embodying artistry, grace, and the preservation of traditional performing arts. I wanted to create a piece of artwork to represent the Geisha. Unique Geisha image was made by the artist using AI, printed on water-soluble paper, then transferred to polymer clay. After baking, the clay image was hand-painted for enhancement. The clay image was mounted to a wood art board that was covered in pre-printed paper decoupage on all visible sides, then piece was sealed with polyurethane. Comes ready to hang with picture wire and hardware fastened to back.
