This is a landscape forest scene of a wild azalea plant growing in the dappled light under the trees and amongst other greenery. We forget sometimes that the hybrid plants we have in our gardens were once wild versions of these shrubs and flowers living in a natural thriving ecosystem that still exists. I used very gestural brushwork to convey the vitality of the natural world. This piece is painted on all sides and requires no framing. A free hanging kit is included with the purchase.
