Hello, I'm Nick.

Trained from an early age at a specialized school for gifted artists and later in graphic design in (Lviv, Ukraine) he worked outside official institutions, rejecting the constraints of Socialist Realism. His early exhibitions took place in informal, private spaces. Since emigrating to the United States in 1991, Zalevsky has maintained an independent studio practice marked by extreme precision and duration, often spending years on a single painting.
