Hello, I'm Dooney Potter.

Dooney Potter is a multidisciplinary artist​,​ poet​,​ and writer born in Medellín​,​ Colombia and based in Wilton Manors​,​ Florida. With a background in engineering and education​,​ he brings a unique structural and conceptual lens to his work—merging vivid oil paintings with symbolic storytelling. His art explores identity​,​ mythology​,​ and transformation​,​ often through emotionally charged portraits that blend pop surrealism and layered narrative. Dooney has exhibited work in Seattle and participated for several years in the Edmonds Art Festival in Washington State. He currently shows work at galleries in Wilton Manors and Fort Lauderdale​,​ with additional pieces held in private collections​,​ including one acquired by a gallery in Athens​,​ Greece. Through Art by Dooney​,​ he also offers custom portraits​,​ limited-edition prints​,​ and original written works.
